Touring Rome

Summer Credit in Italy

Daily News

Hello Parents,

After a long and hot day here we are writing to keep you informed of how the little ones are doing, as they are now sleeping or texting mommy and daddy. We got up early this morning and after breakfast we made our way to Roma's centro storico. We visited il Vittoriano, il Colosseo, la Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna, il Pantheon e Piazza Navona. The buses picked us up along the Tiber River and we got onto the highway southbound towards Paestum. Unfortunately we got stuck in traffic and it took us longer to get to our destination.

Once we got to Hotel Ariston we went straight for dinner and we had a light meal comprised of fazzoletti filled with ricotta, pasta with seafood (the people who are allergic to seafood had pasta primavera), roast beef with potatoes and cake for dessert. At the end of dinner we celebrated Thomas's birthday. The student's were very impressed with Hotel Ariston and I'm sure that with a little bit of work they can get used to this. The teacher's did the room checks, tucked the little ones in and I'm sure they are sleeping and dreaming of mommy and daddy.

Tomorrow we are going to visit the beautiful Amalfi coast.
