First night in Rome

Dear Parents,

The Calabria group arrived in Rome this morning 45 minutes earlier then the scheduled time. Everyone got their luggage in record time and after loading the buses with carry-ons, the big luggage's were loaded into the transport truck and sent to Calabria. During the our ride to the hotel the teacher's collected the student's passports to keep them safe. We checked-in at The Church Palace Hotel and the student's were very patient because some of the rooms were not ready. After giving them a couple of hours to freshen up, we made our way to the Vatican and we visited St. Peter's Square and St. Peter's Basilica. We got back to the hotel and we had dinner. At the end of dinner we celebrated Mr. Benigno's birthday.

Pina and her cashiers opened up the bank so that the student's could deposit their money safely if they wanted to. Now the little ones are now fast asleep and dreaming of mommy and daddy or so we hope. Tomorrow we will visit Rome and in the afternoon we will be driving south towards Paestum.
