Packing day in Serra San Bruno

Hello Parents,

As the little ones are sleeping or doing their luggages we are writing this email to tell you how the day went. The little sleeping beauties had a later wake up call. We had breakfast and they were given time to do some last minute shopping and to start packing their luggage. After the lunch we went to the beach were we spent a couple of hours. We got back to the hotel and the students had some more time to pack before dinner. After dinner we celebrated Christian Russo's birthday and we started our disco night outside on the grounds of hotel Certosa. Tomorrow we are leaving the commercial at about 9:00 a.m. and our flight will be departing at 1:10 p.m. and we are scheduled to arrive at 5:25 p.m. Toronto time.

Very but beautiful day in Calabria and Sicilia

Hi Parents,

As the little ones are starting to pack, we are sending you this email to let you know that we had another very hot but wonderful day. The little cherubs woke at 6:00 a.m. this morning and after breakfast we boarded the buses to go to Taormina. We got to Villa San Giovanni Calabria and we boarded the ferry to Messina Sicilia. The little explorers enjoyed the spectacular view off the strait of Messina and of course found time to discover the culinary delights on the traghetto. That arancini in fact were very tasty and the little ones enjoyed them very much. Taormina was very hot but the little adventurers enjoyed it very much. After a few hours we left Taormina to get back on the ferry across the strait and we made our way to Reggio Calabria. The lungo mare was spectacular and the little ones also enjoyed shopping in the main street of Reggio Calabria. We got back to the hotel just before 10:00 p.m. and we went straight to the lunch room where a hot "light" dinner was waiting for us. Dinner ended with Biagio's homemade gelato al limone and the little travellers were sent to their rooms to start the packing.

Exam Day in Calabria

Hello Parents,

The little scholars have completed their academic responsibilities. After studying hard  they all completed the exams today and they seem to be happy with their efforts. This morning we gave them a little bit more time to sleep in and after a late breakfast some of them came to church and most of them stayed back to study some more.
We had a  very "light" lunch comprised of penne with seafood, homemade zucchini flower frittelle, veal scaloppine, potatoes and other vegetables and watermelon for dessert. After lunch the little scholars made their way to school to write their exams.

We had dinner, I'm going to spare you the menu and we celebrated Marc Gallo's birthday. After dinner the little angels were given some free time to digest and an early curfew because tomorrow we are getting up early to go to beautiful Taormina.

The little ones are fast asleep or so we hope.
